Fire Rated Junction Boxes
“Center for Fire Protection Technologies” offers fire-rated (fire-resistant) junction boxes from Ista LLC (Ukraine).

Fire-Rated (fire-resistant) Junction Boxes
Fire-rated junction boxes are used in cable networks of fire alarm systems. They are able to withstand significant mechanical loads and deformations at high temperatures, thereby ensuring the proper operation of the equipment during different stages of a fire.
Examples of the use of fire-resistant junction boxes:
- fire alarm and emergency evacuation alert systems;
- fire suppression and smoke removal systems;
- machine rooms of fire elevators;
- equipment, which operation must be maintained during fire suppression and fire rescue operations.
Fire-resistant junction boxes are made of heat-resistant material (metal or plastic). The product has heat-resistant ceramic connecting terminals with stainless steel contacts. The boxes are usually equipped with glands for sealing cable entries and fire-resistant anchors for fastening to the surface. The surface of a metal enclosure is covered with powder coating which protects it from corrosion.
When a junction box is in a fire, it does not support combustion, does not produce smoke and does not emit toxic corrosive combustion products.
Fire-rated junction boxes from a Ukrainian manufacturer
“Center for Fire Protection Technologies” offers quality and reliable fire-rated junction boxes manufactured by Ista LLC.
The BKP-1, BKP-3 fire-rated junction boxes are designed for use in low-current and industrial electrical networks up to 400 V. The products are made of high-quality materials and have a well-thought-out design.
